RAIA.co awarded with the Development of International Cooperation prize
RAIA.co, Oceanographic Observatory of the Iberian Margin and the Nearshore, was the INTERREG transborder project where the first WAVY drifters were built and successfully used. This project has now received the award for the Development of International Cooperation that will be delivered at the 4th Atlantic Stakeholders Platform Conference, taking place in Glasgow on November 8th.
WAVY has gone through different stages of development and new ideas a still being pursued under MELOA project like several WAVY lines, new materials for the encapsulations, wave energy harvesting system and satellite communications among others.
The possibility of having a stand to show this evolution of WAVY at the 4th Atlantic Stakeholders Platform Conference is under discussion, so stay tuned.
